Changelog 07/09/2025 – New Features, Bugfixes & Improvements

This update once again focuses on fixing existing issues while enhancing the overall user experience. Below is a detailed overview of all changes.

Fixed Bugs

  • Affiliate Share-Link: An issue that caused a 500 error when accessing affiliate links has been resolved. Links now work reliably.
  • Post offices and Packstations: Until now, there was no check for a valid Post Number. This validation step is now enforced. We also extended the regex to catch common spelling mistakes.

New Features

  • Address additions: Customers can now add extra details such as floor numbers or c/o. These details will also appear on the shipping label, improving delivery accuracy.
  • Address validation via Google Maps API: In addition to the DHL API, addresses are now validated using the Google Maps API. This significantly reduces input errors and improves delivery rates. Exceptions are post offices and Packstations, which remain validated via DHL only.
  • New SEPA reference: We switched the SEPA payment reference to an ISO-11649 standard. This ensures unique, standardized references and improves automated payment matching. Additionally, a QR code is now provided, allowing quick and error-free scanning with banking apps.

Updated Features

  • Inventory system:

Our stock management has been redesigned to improve transparency for both customers and our operations.

    • Hard reservation: Once an order is paid, the products are permanently reserved and deducted from stock.
    • Soft reservation: When an order is placed, the desired amount is provisionally marked, though not yet finalized.
    • Demand indicator: If soft reservations exceed available stock, but stock remains after subtracting hard reservations, the system highlights this. This provides a realistic view of product demand and helps anticipate availability.

These updates make our processes simpler, safer, and more transparent for you. More improvements are already planned and will follow in the next releases.
