The plan was straightforward: we wanted to relaunch in January 2026 with a new product line. Realistically, that timeline is currently not achievable.
The reason is external. The Chinese government has launched a large-scale nationwide crackdown on laboratories. Our partner lab is affected as well. We have had no contact with our counterparts for over a month. As of now, this impacts a significant portion of Chinese labs, pushing our roadmap further back.
This is not just a minor delay. Supply chains are disrupted, approvals are stuck, and required validations are on hold. On top of that, we built a lab setup largely on our own and invested a substantial amount that, under the current circumstances, has to be considered lost.
What does this mean in practice?
- The relaunch will be postponed further.
- We are continuing to work on new, fully legal products.
- We are restructuring processes to become more independent and resilient going forward.
We are asking for a bit more time. We will share an update as soon as we have solid progress and clear next steps we can communicate.
