We would like to provide you with a detailed update regarding the DHL system outage that occurred on 10 September 2025. Both the DHL API and the DHL business customer web portal were unavailable for a period of time. During this outage, it was not possible to generate labels or digitally transfer shipments to DHL. The systems repeatedly returned 503 errors and similar service disruptions. We verified these issues both internally and externally, confirming that the root cause was on DHL’s side.
Our internal response
As soon as the disruption was detected, we immediately took the following steps:
- Technical cross-check:
We verified our own systems, networks, and interfaces to ensure the cause was not internal. - Monitoring:
We continuously monitored DHL’s systems to detect when they became available again. - Prioritization:
All orders that had already been assigned a tracking number before the outage were processed as usual and handed over to DHL.
What does this mean for your orders?
- Orders with tracking numbers:
These were successfully handed over to DHL and can be tracked as usual. Delivery will proceed without delay. - Orders without tracking numbers:
These could not be processed due to the system outage. They will be shipped on 11 September 2025 once DHL’s systems are fully stable again. You will automatically receive your tracking number by email.
Current status
According to our checks, DHL has since resolved the issue. Both the API and the web portal are operational again, ensuring that all pending orders will be shipped tomorrow as planned.
Our commitment
We fully understand that shipping delays can be frustrating. However, transparency and reliability are our highest priorities. That is why we are proactively informing you about this situation, so you know exactly what to expect with your order.
Thank you for your patience and trust.
