As previously explained in our article regarding the deactivation of our Trustpilot profile, our previous profile on the external review platform is currently no longer available.
Rather than remaining permanently dependent on a single external platform, we have decided to develop our own solution: a fully integrated review system within Remicals.de is currently under development.
⭐ Reviews Only After a Verified Purchase
A key component of the new system is verification of an actual purchase. A product review can only be submitted by a registered customer who has previously successfully purchased the respective product through Remicals.de.
This approach is designed to ensure that published reviews are based on genuine orders. Unregistered visitors or users who have not purchased the respective product will not be able to submit a review for it.
🔐 Privacy Built Into the System
In addition to ensuring the authenticity of reviews, we have also considered customer privacy as part of the development process. A customer's full name will generally not be displayed publicly alongside a review.
For registered and logged-in users, the reviewer's name will be displayed in an abbreviated form. For example, “Max Mustermann” will appear as “Max M.”. This keeps reviews more personal and relatable within the community without disclosing the customer's full name.
For visitors who are not logged in, we go one step further: the reviewer's name is completely hidden and displayed only as “*****”. This prevents publicly browsing visitors from identifying the customer based on the displayed name.
The connection between a review, the customer account and the completed purchase remains within our system and is primarily used for purchase verification. A review being marked as originating from a verified purchase therefore does not require the customer's full identity to be publicly disclosed.
🔍 Constructive Criticism Will Remain Visible
Although the review system will be operated by us directly, it is explicitly not intended to become a platform exclusively for positive reviews.
Reviews will be moderated, but a negative review will not be removed simply because it is negative. Legitimate and constructive criticism will remain visible and should provide other customers with a transparent impression. At the same time, this feedback helps us continuously improve our products, processes and customer service.
Reviews will generally only be removed if their content violates applicable law or cannot legally be published. Criticism of a product, an order or our service is explicitly not a reason for removal.
🛠️ Currently in Development
The new review system is part of the ongoing development of Remicals.de and is currently still in the development phase. Integrating it directly into our existing shop and customer account infrastructure allows us to automatically verify whether a customer has actually purchased the reviewed product while also controlling which information is displayed depending on a visitor's login status.
We will provide further information regarding the release and exact functionality once development has progressed accordingly.
🌐 Independent Reviews Remain Possible
We understand that a review system operated directly by the shop cannot completely replace an external and independent review platform.
Customers who would like to share their experience with Remicals.de independently outside our own platform can currently leave a review through our Google Business Profile. Google reviews are published independently of our own review system and are managed by Google according to its applicable policies.
Our objective remains unchanged: to make authentic customer feedback visible – regardless of whether that feedback is positive or critical – while simultaneously protecting the privacy of our customers.
