Withdrawal: Returns, Exceptions and Contact Channels

As a consumer, you generally have a statutory right of withdrawal pursuant to Section 355 of the German Civil Code (BGB). The withdrawal period is 14 days. The following information follows the statutory model withdrawal instructions and applies depending on the type of your order.

You must send the goods back without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days after your withdrawal notice. You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods.

Exceptions

The right of withdrawal does not apply or expires prematurely in particular for:

products made to your specifications or clearly tailored to personal needs,
perishable goods or goods with a short shelf life,
sealed items if the seal (for example a hygiene seal) has been removed after delivery,
digital content under the conditions of Section 356 (6) BGB described above.

This notice applies to physical goods.

Right to Withdraw

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period will expire after 14 days from the day on which you, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you, acquire physical possession of the goods.

of your decision to withdraw from this contract by means of a clear statement (for example a letter sent by post or an email). You may use the model withdrawal form available on our website, but it is not obligatory.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Effects of Withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (except for the supplementary costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed of your decision to withdraw. We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise. In any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.

We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.

Return of Goods

You shall send back the goods or hand them over to us without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal from this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired.

You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods.

Withdrawal right for digital content

Notice on digital content

You have expressly consented to the immediate performance of the contract for digital content before the withdrawal period expires and acknowledged that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal once performance begins. Upon activation of the digital content, the right of withdrawal for that content expires pursuant to Section 356 (6) of the German Civil Code. Until activation, you may still withdraw from the contract.
