New Features
-
More Accurate Address Validation
Our address validation system has been significantly improved. Previously, stored addresses were not re-validated during checkout. With the latest updates, these addresses are now automatically verified to ensure smooth and error-free delivery. This reduces the chance of incorrect or failed shipments considerably. -
Vacation Mode
We’ve added an automatic vacation mode feature. Our company holidays can now be managed directly in the system – during these times, the vacation mode activates automatically. Customers are informed through a visible banner, and all products are temporarily marked as “Unavailable.” This ensures full transparency and avoids confusion when placing orders. -
New Internal Tools for Customer Support
Our customer service system has received major improvements. Internal tools now allow our support team to find orders, accounts, and customer data much faster and assist more efficiently. Many internal workflows that were previously handled manually are now fully digital and automated, resulting in shorter response times and a smoother overall support process.
Bug Fixes
-
Missing Error Message for Billing Address
When a stored billing address was invalid, no checkout error message appeared. This issue has been fixed – invalid addresses are now properly detected and displayed. -
Duplicate Error Messages
In some cases, duplicate error messages were shown during checkout. An automatic deduplication mechanism now ensures that each message only appears once. -
Shipping Cost Calculation
When paying with wallet balance, shipping costs were incorrectly added if the cart value dropped below €20. The calculation logic has been updated – it now correctly usescart_total_amount
instead ofcheckout_total_amount
. -
Availability Display in Cart
The cart sometimes displayed items as available even when they were out of stock. This was caused by an outdated UI component, which has now been completely replaced. The availability status is now much more reliable. -
Visual Adjustments
We’ve made several UI improvements – including better flag icons – and fine-tuned smaller design details across the entire website to provide a more consistent user experience.
Preview: AI Assistant “Remi”
In close collaboration between our development and support teams, we’re currently building our new AI assistant Remi. Remi is hosted on our own GPU servers and has access to internal knowledge such as FAQs, support workflows, and soon also to order and shipping information (including DHL tracking).
The goal is for Remi to independently handle most support requests, significantly reducing the workload of our support team (currently two full-time and one flexible employee) while providing customers with faster initial responses – any time of day.
We’re working hard to launch Remi by the end of October and look forward to giving you an exclusive preview during the first beta phase soon.
