Dear community,
The regulatory landscape in Germany is currently undergoing a profound transformation. At the center is the planned expansion of the New Psychoactive Substances Act (NpSG), which may significantly reshape the framework for research, scientific analysis, and the handling of emerging chemical substances. This reform represents the most extensive modernization since the law’s introduction and clearly signals the government’s intent to curb misuse and systematically close regulatory gaps [2].
At the same time, the federal government has made it unequivocally clear that the constitutional principle of legal certainty will be upheld. In practice, this means: no open-ended catch-all bans, no undefined analog-based prohibitions without clear boundaries, and no retroactive enforcement. This ensures continued space for responsible, well-documented, and scientifically grounded chemical research.
“Broader formulations [...] would contradict the constitutional requirement of legal certainty and open up endless variations.” [1] [3]
The political framing is clear: Public health protection, without issuing a blank check against research, science, and analytical work.
Timeline: Key dates

Transparency & retrospective: our decision on 24 Oct 2025
On 24 Oct 2025, after publication of new NpSG documents, we immediately paused all products and removed listings from the shop – without prior announcement.
Our internal monitoring identified the initiative on 10 Oct 2025, with deeper assessment starting around 15 Oct 2025. Following intensive internal review, we acted promptly.
You can find the original notice here: Important Information on the NpSG – Remicals.de (24 Oct 2025)
Our intention was correct – communication should have been more transparent. We sincerely apologize for that.
We learned from this and improved our internal processes:
- tiered communication flows for regulatory events
- no abrupt measures without prior notice
- ongoing regulatory monitoring updates
- structured research-support workflow
Thank you for your understanding and feedback – it helps us improve.
Transition phase & controlled handling of remaining inventory
We are pausing regular sales of certain substances, acting cautiously and maintaining strict compliance.
Current inventory:
Distribution is strictly limited to legitimate research and laboratory purposes within the defined transition period [2].
15% discount & vouchers
Remaining inventory has been reduced by 15% to support ongoing research efforts. Additional vouchers remain valid as usual.
If you do not have a voucher card, please contact support. After legitimacy verification, you will receive an individualized code.
No stockpiling, no “FOMO sale” – we act deliberately, not reactively.
O-DSMT HCl
O-DSMT HCl was temporarily sold out. Given the clearly defined transition period, we are executing one final, strictly regulated restock before the law takes full effect.
- research use only
- only while legally permitted
No marketing push. No scarcity pressure. Pure scientific supply continuity.
Our future: stable, compliant, research-driven
We are expanding our portfolio to include legally compliant, high-quality research chemicals and analytical standards to support continued scientific work in Germany.
Our commitment
- transparency & legal compliance
- manual validation processes & safety
- scientific responsibility
- harm reduction & education
We remain your partner for responsible research.
